About the organisation
The Danish Foundation for Entrepreneurship is a private commercial foundation which is organised with a board of management and a board of representatives. The Foundation is primarily supported by a four-ministerial partnership.
The Foundation is a based on a board of management and a board of representatives, where business and industry, the education sector, and the trade unions are represented along with a Partnership for innovation and entrepreneurship in educations consisting of:

the Ministry for Children, Education and Gender Equality
the Ministry of Culture
the Ministry for Higher Education and Science

The government has appointed a Partnership for innovation and entrepreneurship in educations to strengthen and coordinate the efforts to incorporate innovation and entrepreneurship in the educations. The appointment of the Partnership is a follow-up on the educational initiatives in the government’s national innovation strategy ’Denmark – a nation of solutions’.
The Partnership for innovation and entrepreneurship in educations is supposed to guarantee the Danish Foundation for Entrepreneurship the best possible setting for contributing to the implementation of initiatives in the innovation strategy.
That is, the Partnership supports the Foundation’s efforts to disseminate a broad understanding of entrepreneurship with an emphasis on the qualitative aspect of education in entrepreneurship. The Partnership moreover supports the Foundation’s efforts to increase the demand and encourage the break-down of barriers towards entrepreneurship in the educational system.
